Build like a Girl is a premier 5-week program (3 hours per week) that bridges the gap between creative vision and hands-on construction reality. Designed for girls who want to be loud, proud, and innovative, this camp offers an unmatched look into the world of design.
The Experience:
- A hands-on capstone project where students build a 3D scaled model room of their choice.
- Exclusive industry exposure through site visits with a local SPARK developer and a masterclass with an HGTV-nominated guest speaker.
- Direct mentorship from licensed General Contractor and Interior Designer, Alexis Mattan.
- Academic Distinction: The top 10% of participants will be awarded a professional letter of recommendation for college to set them apart in future admissions.

Essential Program Information
Who is eligible for the program?
Young women aged 13–18 who reside in the Omaha Metro area and demonstrate a strong interest in architecture, design, and technical trades.
What is the time commitment?
The program consists of a 6-week intensive workshop block meeting twice weekly, including site visits and studio sessions at Alexis Mattan Designs.
Program Investment & Payments
A non-refundable $150 deposit is required upon architectural placement to secure your spot. Full payment is due 10 days prior to program commencement. After completing the registration form below, you will receive a link to our secure payment gateway.
